The oil patterns for the 2023 USBC Open Championships will be released after the conclusion of the 2023 event. One oil pattern will be used for team competition, and a different pattern will be used for doubles and singles squads. Each squad at the 2023 USBC Open Championships will be contested on a fresh oil pattern (no burn squads).

The team practice sessions at Kingpin Club feature the team oil pattern. The 2023 Bowlers Journal Championships features the 2023 doubles/singles oil pattern.
