Side Tournaments
The Bowlers Journal Championships gives competitive bowlers of all skill levels the chance to get a few more games in and potentially earn some additional prize money. The Bowlers Journal Championships offers a variety of divisions and side events to make it fun and exciting for everyone in competing in Reno. The event also is contested on the same oil pattern used for doubles/singles competition at the USBC Open Championships.

RESULTS FOR THE 2023 BOWLERS JOURNAL CHAMPIONSHIPS (updated every Monday)

The 76th Bowlers Journal Championships will take place daily from March 3 - July 23. Squads times are 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m.; 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The 2023 event will be conducted on the low end of the fourth floor at the National Bowling Stadium (Lanes 1-12).

Practice Sessions at the USBC Open Championships
For $100, up to 10 bowlers can spend an hour on a pair of lanes freshly oiled with the same oil pattern being used for the team event at the Open Championships. It's one more chance to get sharp before making the march to the lanes, or use the hour to finalize your game plan!

Squad times for team practice sessions are 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Team practice sessions will be held in the Kingpin Club on the first floor at the National Bowling Stadium.
